I like other things too. Like my awesome family, roller derby, arts & crafts, reading books & poetry, cooking & gardening, and divining the mysteries of the universe. That last part is what I do now full-time. In my previous lives I have sold crafts, waited tables, wrote obituaries, tended bar, and did some freelance mime.
I don’t mime anymore. It was a dark time.
Sullivan is obsessed with my Spanish flash cards — because he likes to hear new words and repeat them. So Aaron bribes him into eating his dinner by teaching him one new Spanish word for every bite.
Aaron: Los pan-ta-lon-es.
Sullivan: Lo-nes?
Aaron: Los pantalones.
Sullivan: Take a bite?
Aaron: Yep. Take a bite.
Aaron: This is good parenting!
